HF Radio ERX 3003

The live demonstration of the new HF Receiver/Exciter ERX 3003 at the EURONAVAL 2016 was a complete success. The ERX 3003 attracted a large expert audience who were excited to see its HF wideband transmission possibilities and other advantages.

The 24 kHz HF wideband capability complies with MIL-STD-188-110 C App D and meets the latest requirements in HF technology.

The ERX 3003 allows HF communication @ SATCOM speed - its HF data rates of up to 120 Kbit/s compete with SATCOM but without any further data traffic charges.

Furthermore, the high dynamic conversion technology of the new ERX 3003 achieves an outstanding co-site performance which is an obvious advantage on board of surface vessels with compact HF antenna arrangements.

Finally, the ERX 3003 is a plug & play replacement for HMK’s well-known exciter/receiver ERX 3000 which makes upgrades a breeze.
