HMK System Integration / Engineering

Integrated internal and external communication systems consist of a wide variety of devices combined into one system. In order to meet our customers’ requirements, HMK either integrates ready-made devices and systems, or provides tailor-made solutions.

Our marine communication systems are integrated into the ship both mechanically and electrically in close co-operation with the customer and the shipyard. Besides the functional requirements, our main focus is on the ergonomic system design to enhance the safety and comfort of the operator.

Furthermore, HMK provides concepts for antenna and device placement on surface vessels (top deck design), taking into account both the limited space as well as electro-magnetic and physical parameters.

HMK Project Management

A project manager (PM) is appointed to execute the implementation plan with the customer. The PM is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating all activities and works such as procurement, quality control, design reviews, documentation, training, integration tasks, trials, etc. in accordance with the implementation plan.

The customer always has direct access to the PM. In execution of his or her duties, the PM is supported by a team of experienced and skilled engineers, supervisors and technicians and has the authority to mobilize the required company resources to support the implementation process.

The PM is responsible for the project over the total project run time and further guarantees the fulfilment of the contract and specifications.

  • analyze risks and opportunities for our company and create measures to guarantee its continuation
